I like anything from blues and jazz to rock and pop, as long as it has a swinging rhythmic pulse!
But more than anything, I love creating musical parts in support of original compositions.
Accordion sounds great to me within the context of jazz, swing and gypsy swing. Some accordionists that have inspired me here include Art van Damme, Frank Marocco, Richard Galliano and Marcel Loeffler.
As for the bass, I love to accompany classic rock, blues or pop, and listen to bassists such as Shawn Hurley, Chris Chaney, Duck Dunn, T-Bone Walk and Pino Palladino.
Since I am also interested in creative writing, I will gradually include texts on these artists and what I think makes them so special.
