Very interesting!
Now all musicians want to read this "Vintage" book! Hope the English version will be out soon 😉 Thanks
You know how many guitars I had before I went back to the accordion? Let's see there was the Martin 000-16, the D28, the Gibson ES335, Guild F-30, the Dobro (authentic), the Ramirez A1... and then there's the accordions. I've finally settled on 2, although there were others which I fell in love with but couldn't afford at the time. For me it's the RESONANCE the I feel in my body from the sound .. This is how I know the instrument if for me. Thanks for writing. Keep it up! CD
Nice job, Brandon! So well written and really shows your love for that wonderful man. I'm not familiar with some of the albums you mention -- thanks for enlightening me and for your blog.
Thank you for this tribute to Frank M. He was a dear friend and my accordion teacher for 2 1/2 years prior to his untimely death. I have two Marocco-Pizzi vinyls: Jazz Accordion and New Colors. They both are great fun to listen to. Impeccable artistry.
Brandon, this Blog is wonderful. It is much needed. Your posts are fresh, informative and fascinating.
I love, love, love the Frank Marocco piece. Now I am off to explore more of your posts.. Kudos.
Brandon, I love the site. I've loved your knowledge and perspective over the years in other accordion communities on the internet, and now I'm so happy to see that you have a dedicated spot to share your perspective and passions. My wish life gives you the time to keep writing for this site. Fantastic work so far. I've subscribed in my RSS reader already!
